Chuchunco City 2005 - Cast

LongBin is learning martial arts from his uncle Ping TaiShan. He's very obsessed with improving his skill, though he hasn't mastered many moves yet. He's surprisingly fast for his size, however, and will do fine with just basic punches and kicks.

LongBin's OTP. They first knew each other many years ago in Japan, when they were still young children. She's a nice girl who doesn't like martial arts too much, but she joined this tournament along with LongBin because she didn't want her boyfriend to have all the fun, and because everyone keeps praising her natural strength.

A former student of Shigeru Nishida and an exchange student at ETH Zurich, she comes from a moderately wealthy family. She's a biology and math nerd who is obsessed with studying, but sometimes she finds time for her favorite sports.

A part-time teacher of Physical Education, she learned Capoeira from her best friend, and defeated her at the qualifiers for this tournament. She dances to anything with a beat and likes to paint.

The youngest and littlest fighter in the tournament, her impossible speed and great cunning allowed her to defeat everyone who stood on her way to the tournament, including her father, siblings and her sensei, Samuel Gutiérrez. She's also an outstanding student, though prone to long absences because of her fragile health.

He's a particularly innocent person who only cares about his family, his job, his studies and his personal relation with God. A fighter who doesn't like giving up on anything, he's not stupid, however, and knows his powers and limitations, what he can and can't give and do. He also doesn't lose his life away in front of a computer, trying to get over a devastating oversight...

In sum, he's not me.

Fred wants to win so he can buy a ticket back home with the prize money. He sees practicing sports as a way of escape from his personal problems, and puts all his spirit on a fight.

"Romano" is a student of Political Sciences who went crazy on the whole Roman Empire, and likes of think of himself as a modern Roman Gladiator. Unfortunately for him, Chuchunco City doesn't allow weapons; otherwise, he'd appear in the ring with his signature shield, sword and spear. Oh, and he needs to work on his Latin.

He likes to refer to himself as that mysterious creature that came to life and escaped from certain design office. He talks to himself in a strange language with few words, all monosyllabic, and currently lives in a mostly-mayan mexican village.

Samuel is a Coptic Orthodox mystic who strayed from his theology studies and started looking into the Occult. Eventually, he became able to summon the power of hot, dusty, firey wind. Sam is a bit crazy and a loner, though always looking for feminine company...

Son of the late Ichiro Nishida, who was the founder of the Nishida Karate school in Yokohama. Shigeru moved the school to Kobe and currently runs it. The winner of the Chuchunco City tournament will have a chance to prove his skills against Shigeru Nishida.
